Katra (Barrett) Ury: Voice Actor and Game Developer

Hi y'all

I'm Katra Ury. I do voice acting and game development, as well as script adaptation, audio and video editing. In my free time, I play a lot of JRPGs, play Pokémon Competitively, make too many TCG decks, watch a lot of anime and read a lot of manga.

Voice Acting

I've currently been voice acting for 3 years and have taken classes from some of the Industry's best, including Chris Hackney, Corrina Boettger, Tony Oliver and BangZoom! themselves! If you're looking for a Maniacal Villain, a Spirited Announcer or an Insane Gremlin, I'll be able to voice what you need done. From classes on video games to ADR to working with studios, I've got the experience I need to voice the stuff you need me in.

Games

I do a handful of coding, game development and game design! Here's some of the things I've work on

The Child Who Picked Pebbles

This game was an attempt to make a cozy collectathon game while many of my peers focused on more combat oriented games. This was a game I spearheaded with a group of my peers. As the producer, I worked with a team of talented individuals to build a demo.

My responsibilities were:
- Make sure things were going smoothly
- Blend art assets and coding assets to make the game look good
- Code parts of the game
- Help with debugging

Buddy Ball

Buddy Ball was a small game that took me two months to make. I wanted to make a game that focused on gravity so I didn't need to take as much time to code, and that's what lead to it's "Jump King Like" structure. It was a personal challenge that got many of the players addicted to the game.

Blog

I've gotten into the habit of writing things I find interesting on my own personal blog. This has to do with games I've played and my opinions on said games:
